Gosling Advice To Team Mates - Show No Fear

Last updated : 03 June 2015 By Bournemouth Co-Ordinator

With a mammouth season head, Gosling is telling his team mates not to hide away in awe of the stage they are about to take.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Gosling is quoted as saying: "I have been to all the big Premier League stadiums and it is a totally different kettle of fish to anything else you experience in football. When you turn up on the coach and see Old Trafford and the big stars arriving for the first time, it can be quite daunting. As a team, it is important for us to believe we are not a small club and that we belong on that platform. If we go there in awe of everything then I don’t think we will do ourselves justice. We went up as champions and earned the right to play on the biggest stage so we should show no fear and go there with a lot of pride and confidence. If any little insight from me can help the lads, then great, but the boys have a good idea of what it is about and we have a pretty level-headed bunch so I am sure all of us will be ready".
