Gosling Bides Time

Having missed out on his full League debut at Huddersfield Town, Dan Gosling is aware that he needs to be patient to edge his way in to Eddie Howe's first team plans as the new seasons gets under way.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo new signing Gosling is quoted as saying: "I am used to competition for places and had it at both Everton and Newcastle. It is no different here because there are top players in the squad. They had a great season last season, which shows, so it is going to be difficult to get in the team. But everyone has to be ready to play and, hopefully, I will get the nod soon. We got off to a flying start at Huddersfield and want to keep it going against Brentford. Hopefully, we can do that. All the lads are top-drawer. They are very good people on and off the pitch and there is great quality within the squad. Nobody who started at Huddersfield started against Exeter and to be able to field two different teams shows the strength in depth and that is only going to bode well for us this season".
