Goulding On Comeback

Following a near 3-month lay off through injury, Jeff Goulding is hoping to come back stronger than ever as he attempts to gain a place in the Cherries first team.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Goulding is quoted as saying: "You do think of that every now and then but, at the minute, I’ve just been focusing on getting fit and the rest will take care of itself hopefully. But you are always a little bit worried that if you don’t come back then you never know what’s around the corner. It’s a big eight months for me. A lot is happening and I want to be playing and prove to everyone that I’m worthy of another deal and hopefully that will happen. I’m feeling a lot nearer full fitness. The two reserve games I played in went pretty well and I got through both of the 90 minutes, which was pleasing".
