Gowling Disappointment

Speaking the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Josh Gowling is quoted as saying: "After I had been stretchered off and the doctor was looking at it in the changing room, it didn't feel too bad. It wasn't swollen and the doctor said it didn't look too serious so although I was gutted, I was relieved as well. But after about five minutes, it started to swell up and then it got stiff and sore so that's when I knew it was bad. I feared the worst and knew I was going to be out for quite a while. It felt a bit better when I woke up on Monday, but I suppose I was kidding myself. I was thinking it didn't feel too bad so maybe it was okay. But when Jim (Marshall, Cherries physio) phoned me with the scan results, I was absolutely gutted and I still am now because the season is over for me".

From all at the AFC Bournemouth Exiles Club, we'd like to wish Josh a speedy recovery.
