Defender Josh Gowling has admitted that he has received two offers from other clubs to take him away from Dean Court.
Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Gowling is quoted as saying: "I've been away with my girlfriend and had one offer before I left and one since I've been back. I haven't received the offer from Bournemouth yet because it was sent by registered post while I was away but I know what's on the table. I'll have a good look through it when I come back from France and then decide what's best for me. I love it here and the gaffer has been great with me. He has said he will do everything in his power to keep me and that was nice to hear. I've been away from home since I was 16 so if a club closer to home is interested then that is something I need to consider. It's a factor but not a major one. I will do what is best for my career and not something just to be comfortable at home".
The impact of the continuing period in Administration is helping the decision making process where Gowling goes on to say: "It definitely clouds your judgement. We're getting paid half our wages and sometimes we don't get that on time. It does make you think about having a bit of security and going somewhere where you know you will get paid on time. The least anybody would expect when they go to work would be to get paid on time. I just hope the takeover will be sorted out in the next few weeks because it's gone on far too long. We should be sitting down with the club and talking about our contracts. It shouldn't be anything to do with the administrator but the situation is as it is and it's a difficult time for everybody".
