Great To Be Back - Arter

On his return to action, Harry Arter is pleased to be back in a Cherries shirt following injury and a bout of flu, being quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "It was great to be back. I still felt a bit rough before the game and was worried that I wouldn’t be able to get through it. But I felt fine and everything was okay with my groin. I was just pleased to be out there. I couldn’t travel with the first team on Saturday because of the flu and am still a bit bunged up. It was great to get in some game-time and I feel as though I’m over the worst of it now. It hasn’t been the best of months of me and, hopefully, November will be better".

Elsewhere, AFC Bournemouth have been ordered to pay Woking the princely sum of £4,000 by a transfer tirbunal in London after the two clubs were unable to agree a fee. The £4,000 is far below the figure Woking were after, believed to be £30,000, leaving Jeff Mostyn delighted with the deal.

Mostyn is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "We were chuffed to bits with the outcome. Compared with the fee Woking had demanded, it was a fantastic result for the club. Harry has tremendous potential and is going to be a real asset to the club. We have already seen signs of his ability this season. We had offered Woking what we felt to be an acceptable sum of money by way of compensation but they seemed to be talking in terms of a transfer fee. They appeared to be asking the tribunal to make provision for an up-front payment, stage payments and a sizeable sell-on percentage".
