Speaking after the match, striker Lee Bradbury was quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying about reaching a century of career goals: "I didn't realise that. I thought I had more than that! I'll try to get to 102 on Tuesday. I've got to perform up there to stay there. Getting a couple of goals won't do any harm. If I keep scoring, I'm sure I'll keep playing".
Of the fans, Bradbury went on to say: "Last week they were disappointed at the way we performed and this week they've come all this way on a Friday night and all credit to them. It was brilliant for them".
Marvin Bartley echoed similar sentiments on the Clubs Official Web Site by saying: "It was freezing cold! We battled well at the end and all the boys worked hard and we kept believing in ourselves even when we were 3-1 down. We showed great determination and attitude at the end there and even with ten men, I think if the game went on any longer, we would have won. At 3-2 down with ten men, we would have taken the point all day though and in the end, the performance deserved reward. It will give us confidence going in to Tuesdays game.Maybe a couple of weeks ago, we would have ended up losing that game 3-2, but we managed to get the draw. We are all so pleased to have got a point for the supporters who made the long trip and were brilliant".
