Grimsby Town Reaction - Cherries III

Alan Connell, who scored the Cherries opener against the Mariners, is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "My mum and dad loved coming to Dean Court to watch us. They travelled from Enfield for most of our games. My dad missed my goal against Yeovil so I know he will have been delighted to have been here. He's had a really difficult time and hopefully that will help cheer him up. You have to savour moments like that because you have a lot of lows in football, as I have experienced. I just hope I can kick on from here. The most important thing was that we extended our lead at the top of the table. We are really happy about that but nobody is getting carried away".
