Hart & Cooper Sign Deals

Having made an excellent start to the season in the face of the long injury list at Dean Court, both Callum Hart and Shaun Cooper have been handed 18-month deals to keep them at Dean Court until June 2007.

Manager Sean O'Driscoll was quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "They've been tremendous ..... they've both got a lot to improve on, but considering they got thrown in at the deep end, I think they've acquitted themselves really well. They've been on short-term contracts for two or three months now and just got on with it. But now the sale and leaseback has gone through, we'll be looking to give them something a bit more permanent and with a bit more security".

With news of the deal Callum Hart was quoted as saying: "I had a chat with the manager the other day and he said that I had a contract and I am so pleased, it's great ..... when I got released by Bristol [City] in the summer I thought that nothing was going to happen. I was working for my dad on a building site. But Sean O'Driscoll has shown faith in me and I owe him a lot".
