HAYTER SIGNS!
After a period of speculation, not least of all during the January transfer window, Jamie Hayter has committed himself to a new 2-year deal to keep him at Dean Court until Summer 2008.

Speaking at the press conference, Hayter is quoted on the Clubs Official Web Site as saying: "I'm glad to have the contract agreed and I'm happy to be here. It's always a big decision to sign a contract and this is an important time in my career. I put a lot of thought into it, I like it here, I like working with Sean and I think I've made the right decision. Sean was my youth team manager when I first arrived, he's been a great influence on my career and I like the way he does things. We've come through a sticky patch in the past few months, but we've shown in the last couple of weeks that we've got the potential to move upwards and become a successful side. I've had a look around and perhaps the grass isn't greener on the other side. You could always move to another club for more money on a free, but if you're not playing football you're not happy. I love playing football and that's all I want to do. It doesn't always work out when you move on and I'm more than happy here".
