Hollands In Quit Threat

Danny Hollands could be leaving Dean Court on June 12, on a free transfer, if he does not receive 50% of his May wages by June 12th.

Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Hollands is quoted as saying: "I have put in my notice but it wasn't for the want of wanting to leave. It was more for the fact that the decision was put on me because I haven't got any money and I haven't been paid. We have received the final 40 per cent of last month's wages, so I've got that now, but I'd already put the 14-day notice in so the club have got until June 12. I hope it doesn't come to that (leaving) because I want to stay. I feel next season will be good for all of us. I feel it's the strongest squad we've had and that we can do well, but it's a decision put upon me. Financially, I was down to almost no money and I felt I couldn't go on like it. Hopefully the club will get sold and everything will be all good for next season".

Manager Eddie Howe is understandably not wanting to loose one of his best players, and went on the record as saying: "I desperately don't want to lose Danny and hope the situation can be resolved before that happens. He's going to be a pivotal player next season".
