Home Stay For Cargill

Even though his first team opportunities might be limited in the centre of defence, Cargill is determined to fight for his first team place as the Cherries look to take their place in the Premiership when the season kicks off in a few weeks time.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Cargill is quoted as saying: "I think I've got a great opportunity to earn a spot here so that's what I want to do. "I'm still young and I still have a lot of time to go in my career but the sooner I start playing more often, the better for me. But I have got to work hard because I have some really good defenders ahead of me. I think everyone's aim in football is to play at the top level and achieve the most you can and the Premier League is the best league in the world so to be able to play in it – if I did – would be amazing. I think our style of play will fit in well in the Premier League and I think it would suit me as a player. My composure is a big part of my game and, hopefully, I would fit in well".
