In past seasons, the Cherries have struggled when it's come to injuries and fielding a decent starting eleven. But in the current squad, manager Eddie Howe is pleased to have options available to him.

The Cherries boss is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I’m pleased with the options available to me. I think we’ve got a very flexible squad and we’ve got players who can play in a number of positions. That’s vital to us at this stage. We’re not the only team who are suffering from injuries. We’re no different from anybody else and it does mean that you utilise your whole squad. I was delighted with the lads who came in on Tuesday – I thought they all performed really well and that’s credit to how they have looked after themselves and prepared for games".
