Howe To Shuffle The Pack

With a doubt over Ryan Garry, and Warren Cummings out for a one match suspension, manager Eddie Howe needs to reshuffle his pack to face Northampton Town on Saturday.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Howe is quoted as saying about Joe Partington: "We think he’s going to be a very good player. He’s only just come back from injury and has had a lot of time out of action and has played two games in three days. It’s great credit to him coming through those games and I think there is more to come from him. Once he plays more games I’m sure he’ll show us what a good player he can be".

Missing Warren Cummings for one match will be a loss as Howe went on to say: "He’s been very consistent this season and part of a back four which hasn’t conceded many goals. It’s unfortunate because Monday was the last game before the deadline for the bookings".

Elsewhere, Anton Robinson came through his return against Torquay United unscathed, while Sammy Igoe is improving after a further problem with his knee. Shaun Cooper is set to return to training at the end of January.
