I Love To Get Forward - Smith

He may be a defender, but Adam Smith is looking forward to the challenge of first team football at Dean Court, following his months loan move from Spurs.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, the 19-year old is quoted as saying: "I love to get forward. I like to think of myself as an exciting player to watch, so hopefully I will do well and please the fans. Bournemouth have started well this season and I have heard about Eddie – that he is a good manager, he is young and seems to get the best out of players, so I thought why not. I was at Wycombe for a month and then I was at Torquay for about six months. I did well at Torquay and it didn’t work out at Wycombe, so I have got a bit of experience but I need a bit more. I think it is a good experience to come and play in the lower leagues because there are some good players here. When I came here, I did hear that Bournemouth play the best football, so that can only help me in my game. I feel a bit more confident coming in to play in the lower leagues because I’ve done it before. I’m just hoping to do well here really".
