Even though his contract is due to expire in the close season, Warren Cummings is likely to invoke a clause in his contract which, based on appearances, which entitles him to another year at Dean Court.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Cummings is quoted as saying: "It is more than likely that I will be here next season. I have never thought about going anywhere else, we have just been promoted and I want to be part of a League One team. With the squad of players we have got here, and with the manager looking to get in one or two more, I think we have got a real chance of making an impression in the league above. I am proud to have played for this club for so long and want to play for this club for a lot longer. It is a fantastic place to be and everyone can see we are on the up. As well as promotion, the current board has made a real difference and it feels like a real football club again".
