I'll Give 100% - Robinson

Having coming on for the injured Joel Ward after quarter of an hour, Anton Robinson is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I didn't expect to start. I knew the lads had been doing well and were unbeaten in three so I was happy to be on the bench. I knew I would have to earn my place as soon as I got my chance. I didn't think it would come so soon - and it was a bit of a shock when it came at right-back! I had only played there once before in my career, last season when Weymouth played at York, and I did okay. I felt it went quite well on Saturday. Shaun Cooper and Jason Pearce kept talking to me and were helping me with my positioning. I enjoyed the whole day and getting three points was the most important thing. Before Eddie signed me, he said he'd seen me play a few times and thought I had the attributes to play right-back. He said he wanted me as a central midfielder but also said he was a bit short of cover at right-back. He asked me whether I would mind filling in if ever I were needed and I said I would be happy to. If he wanted me to keep goal, I would do my best because that's the sort of player I am. I would always be happy to do a job for the team, even if it wasn't in central midfield. But if I'm needed to do a job for the team, then I would always give 100 per cent, even if I was playing out of position".
