I'm Very, Very Proud To Be Bournemouth Manager - Howe

Following recent speculation (again) on his Dean Court future, manager Eddie Howe has expressed his affection for AFC Bournemouth. Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Howe is quoted as saying: "I’m very, very proud to be Bournemouth manager. It means an awful lot to me and that’s really all I want to say on it. You just have to look at the players I have. I don’t mean this in a corny way, but they’ve been absolutely fantastic for me since I’ve come in – they’ve been magnificent. They’re a joy to work with. I love coming into training and working with them. They’re a great bunch, they’re very professional and I brought a lot of players in during the summer and they signed long contracts. All these decisions have to weigh heavily with me. I love being here, I love working with the players and I have a great relationship with the chairman and the board. We’re having really good success at the moment and long may it continue. Who knows what will happen in the future? I’m certainly not getting ahead of myself. I have to prove myself every day to be good enough to do this job, let alone any other job".
