With the recent change in management, Btree Pitman has revealed the secret for his much improved form of late, scoring his 4th goal in 4 games, taking his tally to 8 for the season.

Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Pitman is quoted as saying: "I've only started six games on the trot once before and Eddie has told me that, if I keep working hard, I will be in his team. It's nice to feel wanted. Eddie has put his arm around me when he's needed to and hammered me when he's needed to. We've worked and played together and I think he knows me, along with Joe Roach, probably better than anyone so it's working well at the moment. Any player will say it's nice to be wanted. If you're playing week in, week out then you feel part of it. Maybe before, I was playing one week and then on the bench the next. You start to feel as though you're not part of it".

The return of influential Steve Fletcher is also acknowledged: "He takes the pressure off me and talks to me. We've got a good understanding. I know he can't run around as much as he once did and although that puts a little more pressure on me to run around, it is probably helping me".
