In Need Of Fire Power

One thing that has been painfully obvious in the first two games of the season is the lack of fire power in front of goal in the games against Gillingham and Cardiff City. Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo about the trip to Aldershot Town, Bond is quoted as saying: "We know we need to try to be more of a threat in front of goal and maybe playing one central striker against Gillingham didn't help. It worked well in pre-season although Brett was the lone striker whereas Jo came back and hadn't really had enough training. We put two up front against Cardiff but didn't really carve out enough chances, which is an area we need to try to do something about if we can, either in terms of working with the players we've got or if we could get somebody else in".
