Individual Fitness Programmes Helping

Liam Feeney revealed that each player has had their own fitness regime to follow during the closed season to ensure fitness for pre-season as the clubs gears up for the new season on August 6th.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Feeney is quoted as saying: "We all got programmes to do. We played a lot of games last season so it was important to have two or three weeks where we didn’t do a lot. Then you get into your programmes and keep yourself ticking over before picking it up a bit. Towards the last few weeks of the off season, you are ready to come back flying. The lads have kept themselves in great shape and I think that showed on Tuesday. The programmes were all individually set so everyone had their own things to do. I followed it, as all the lads did, and I feel really sharp now. Louis Langdown made sure we got a good rest and people could see we came back sharp against Hamworthy Recreation".
