Danny Hollands is currently sitting out of pre-season because activities due to a swollen knee.
Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, manager Kevin Bond is quoted as saying: "We are going to get him scanned as soon as we can and I can't say too much until after that. He's got aswollen knee so something is going on otherwise that wouldn't be happening. Let's just hope it's nothing serious".
As for Jo Kuffour who has undergone a hernia operation, Bond is also quoted as saying: "If Jo can recover as quickly as Danny did, he might be back in training as early as next week".
Plus there is the need for an additional keeper to which Bond says: "I'm looking for a goalkeeper but if I'm going to bring one in, I want him to be good. I'm having a look at Corrin at the moment and we've got Ryan Pryce as well. But we know we need another one and I'm actively trying. I've had a few mentioned to me and would like to bring someone in who will make a difference. Michael Poke has been mentioned to me and he's a decent goalkeeper. I don't know what the situation is with Southampton but they are probably keeping their younger players around them at this moment in time".
