Ipswich Town Reaction - Cherries II

Last updated : 29 December 2013 By Bournemouth Co-Ordinator

With Josh McQuoid starting against Ipswich Town, who started given the enforced absence of Arter (suspended) and MacDonald (carrying a knock), here's his reaction, from the Clubs Official Web Site to getting the nod to start: "It came as a bit of a surprise, but it was a nice one seeing my name on the board because I just wanted to show what I can do. I felt I could have played a little longer, but the game was starting to become more open and fresh legs would have helped us, which we saw when Brett came on. I was tiring because I can’t remember when my last game was and it was the right decision from the gaffer’s point of view to take me off. I definitely feel there is more to come from me. I’m not going to get ahead of myself and I’ve just got to keep on pushing forward and aiming for a place in the team. It’s a big time now for the club because there are a lot of games in the next few weeks. There are going to be injuries and suspensions, so you have to be ready at all times".
