With the absence of Steve Fletcher and Eddie Howe from the first team for Blackpool, then Carl Fletcher steps up the role of Captain for the tomorrows game at Balckpool and next weekends home match against Huddersfield.
On his appointment as captain, Carl Fletcher says "it will be a very proud moment for me and I am really looking forward to it".

Carlisle United, despite a Football League transfer embargo, are said to be interested in taking Gareth O’Connor to the north west on loan. The player is out of contract this summer and has not featured to often in Cherries’ line-ups. His ex-Bohemians boss Roddy Collins currently manages Carlisle.

Eddie is suspended having been sent off at the end of the Boxing Day trip to Swindon Town, and Steve Fletcher is still injured.

Amos Foyewa is starting to return to full fitness following a reserve match at home against Northampton Town (we lost 1-2). He came on as a substitute at the start of the second period and created most of the Bournemouth chances during the second 45 minutes.
