Jalal Looking Forward To League One

Shwan Jalal is relishing the prospect of the step up to League One as he prepares for the opening game of the season against Charlton Athletic. Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, he is quoted as saying: "My first season in the league with Peterborough didn’t go as well as I would have wanted. I came to Bournemouth and we avoided relegation in my first season and then won promotion last season. I feel I have matured as a player here and, maybe at Peterborough, it all came a bit too soon for me. But it was experience I needed and, thankfully, I brought it here. I am hungry to prove to people that I can play at this level and am really enthused about the new season. This is a fantastic club and I have got some great people looking out for me. Mossy is first class and I can’t praise Eddie and Jason enough".
