Jalal's Excellent Attitude

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Howe is quoted as saying: "Shwan has certainly showed the right reaction. He could have sulked and thrown his toys out of his pram but he's reacted in the right way. His attitude has been excellent since he was left out of the side so that is a major positive. He's got his head down, worked extremely hard and has bounced back brilliantly".

Jalal featured in the reserve game against Yeovil Town beating them 3-2. Of the reserve performance, Howe went on to say that: "It was a good performance ...... the pros all came through and did excellently, while the young lads also did very well. It was good for Jeff Goulding to play the whole 90 minutes because he certainly needed it. He played a number of positions and we tried to experiment with him a bit. He is also knuckling down in training and working on his weaknesses".
