David James has been released by AFC Bournemouth after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.
James hasn't played for the Cherries since hitting 19 appearances in the Cherries goal, but has seen Jalal and now Allsop take over between the sticks with Buchel and Flahavan also on the Cherries books.
James has been linked just recently with Icelandic side IBV in recent weeks.
