The Shrews took the lead in the third minute through Drummond, but the joy of the 21000 Shrews fans was short lived as Walker levelled with a superb strike in the 21st minute. Walker struck again in the 35th minute with a superb lob of the keeper from a tight angle. Tierney was sent of the Shrewsbury as tempers began to fray, which then allowed Igoe to put the result beyond doubt in the 4th minute of added time. The Shrews keeper went up for a corner, missed a header, ending up on his back side, allowing Igoe almost the freedom of the pitch to charge forward, sliding the ball in to an empty net!
