Goals from Marcus Gayle and Darren Barnard had given the Conference side a comfortable 2-0 lead at the break.
Goals from James Hayter and Steven Foley restored parity after the break as the Cherries battled back for the draw.
The highlight of the game came with the introduction of Ryan Price to the first eleven with Gareth Stewart, Neil Moss currently out injured.
Manager Sean O'Driscoll was quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, saying this about Price's call to action: "He didn't play in the youth team fixture but he comes training with us. It is a little bit daunting but he acquitted himself really well. The boys are very good at integrating new players. We've had a lot of loan players and a lot of new players so I think we've got a good bunch who will help. I thought he did very well. He's done well in training and in the youth team games so I thought he deserved his chance. It's a big step for him but he's played in a proper first-team friendly in front of a crowd and he dealt with the pressure".
