AFC Bournemouth lost to goals from Karadas, Robert and De Zeeuw as Portsmouth gave the Bournemouth defence a good workout, and Neil Moss in particular, in this latest friendly ahead of the new season.

Bournemouth did generate a few chances. A Stock free kick wasn't cleared properly, allowing Cooke to shoot goalwards, which was deflected for a corner. Another chance fell to Steve Fletcher who produced a goalwards header from an O'Connor cross.

The best second half chances fell to Steve Fletcher who tested Pompey keeper Westerveld with a couple of headers. The first coming from an O'Connor cross.
