Just The Start - Mitchell

With automatic promotion now in the bag, Eddie Mitchell was naturally delighted with the achievement, being quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "We certainly won’t be taking our eye off the ball. We could not have asked for any more from the players and management and their achievement has been quite magnificent. It has given everybody a chance to celebrate and rightly so. However, having spoken to Eddie (Howe), we want to concentrate on the football and try to get second place. A lot of hard work has gone into trying to stabilise the club, both on and off the pitch, and promotion is just the start of it. There are a lot of things in the pipeline and we want to get some improvements under way before the start of next season. We should have a reduction in travelling costs because the next division is more southern based. On the other side of the coin, the opposition is going to be harder. Therefore, we will have to work harder to try to find resources for Eddie and Jason to manoeuvre".
