These two could not be separated in the first leg at the Liberty Stadium, where both had to settle for a 1-1 draw. A goal from Jay Tabb, when he pounced on a loose ball in the 29th minute to put the visitors ahead. The advantage could not be held on to as Rickets levelled for the home side in the 87th minute with a deflected effort.

In the return leg, Swansea City ran out 2-0 winners at Griffin Park where Leon Knight scored twice in the 8th and 15th minutes to set up their return to Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.

Barnsley/Huddersfield Town
This tie was dominated by the home sides as both won away from home! Huddersfield Town claimed the first leg at Oakwell in front of 16127 as Taylor-Fletcher scored the only goal of the game in the 85th minute following a mix up in the home defence, allowing him to bundle the ball home.

The second leg at the Galpharm Stadium was decided in a frantic 20 second half minutes! The tie was levelled with a Hayes penalty in the 58th minute. Worthington put Huddersfield back in front on aggregate in the 65th minute. The tie then turned in the 71st minute when Reid put Barnsley level again, which was then added to by Nardiello in the 78th minute to set up a griping last 12 minutes. Barnsley held out for the win on the night, and on aggregate to set up a League One Play-Off Final against Swansea City.
