Luton Town continue to impress as they lead the way at this early stage of the season. On their travels they visited Blackpool and came away with a 3-1 victory to compound the misery for the seas siders!! Even though Blackpool took a 4th minute lead through Taylor, Luton hit back with 3 after the break through Howard and a brace from Brkovic to secure 3 points.

Along with the surprise package of Col U at this early stage, not too many people would have predicted Chesterfield to have done so well I suspect. But they are, chalking up a find 3-2 away win against Bradford City. The Spirites are not going to be relegation candidates this season if they can come back from 2-0 deficits to win 3-2!! Dean Windass netted either side of half time (41 and 54 minutes) before Chesterfield came back through a Nicholson penalty on 78 minutes which was followed with a brace from Folan on 79 and 88 minutes to nick the points for the Derbyshire side!
Swindon Town hoisted themselves up to the edge of the play-off positions with an impressive 3-0 win over Hartlepool United. All three goals came in the first half through Henderson (17), Parkin (37) and a Nelson penalty (40) secured three points for the Wiltshire Club. Brentford continued the season with their 3 win at home against Stockport County. The SW Londoners also scoring 3 to secure the points. Their goals coming from Dobson (4), Salako (16) and Burton (30) without a response from Stockport!!
Peterborough United travelled to Yorkshire to face Huddersfield Town, and went home with nothing as they were on the wrong end of a 2-1 defeat. The hosts took the lead on 16 minutes through McAliskey (16) before Woodhouse netted a penalty on the stroke of half time. But shortly after the break Worthington scored what proved to be the winner.
