Colchester United are close to claiming an automatic promotion spot again as they pushed Hartlepool United closer to a place in League Two. Two Danns goals in the 82nd and 90th minutes were enough to leave 'Pool in the bottom 4. Colchester United 3rd, Hartlepool United 21st.

Swansea City cemented their play-off position with a good 2-1 win over a determined Swindon Town side at the Liberty Stadium. Shakes gave Town the lead just after the hour mark, but that was cancelled out by Robinson on 71 minutes. Forbes assured the points for the home side with his goal in the 78th minute. Swansea City 5th, Swindon Town 22nd.

In a key relegation battle, Walsall slipped to their 7th home defeat of the campaign to a AFC Bournemouth side determined to hang on to their League One status. The single goal victory was claimed when Hayter bagged his 20th goal of the season. This minutes after he missed a penalty! Walsall 23rd, AFC Bournemouth 17th.
