Congratulations to Brighton & Hove Albion on their well deserved promotion to the Championship following a 4-3 win over battling Dagenham & Redbridge at Withdean. It didn't start too well for the Seagulls as Akinde gave the Daggers in the first minute. Two quick goals from Calderon (18th min) and Murray (19th min) turned the game around only for Nurse (48th min) and a Green penalty (51st min) turn the game back in favour of the visitors. Bridcutt levelled in the 56th minute, leaving Barnes to score in the 63rd minute to secure promotion. Brighton & Hove Albion 1st, Dagenham & Redbridge 19th.

Rochdale enhanced their play-off chances with a 2-0 win over promotion chasing South Coast Club at Spotland. Thompson (28th min) and O'Grady (41st min) lifted the home side in to the play-off places. Rochdale 6th, South Coast Club 2nd.

Leyton Orient (8th) couldn't keep pace with a 0-0 draw against Carlisle United (14th) at Brisbane Road.

Walsall boosted their chances of surviving the drop with a crucial 3-2 win over Brentford at Bescott. Balkestein gave the Bees the lead in the 30th minute only to see Macken and Cook put the Saddlers in front with goals in the 40th and 57th minutes. Grabban levelled for the Bees n the 62nd minute before Macken scored the all-important winner in the 64th minute. Walsall 20th, Brentford 11th.

Yeovil Town boosted their survival chances with a 2-1 win over struggling Notts County at Huish Park. Bowditch gave the Glovers the lead in the 32nd minute, with Spicer levelling in the 51st minute, but it wasn't enough as Bowditch scored his second in the 57th minute. Yeovil Town 17th, Notts County 22nd.
