League One Review - April 15th

Last updated : 15 April 2008 By Bournemouth Co-Ordinator
Leeds United failed to cement a play-off place as they slipped to Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town at the Galpharm Stadium. Having seen Douglas sent off for Leeds United, and then Worthington for Huddersfield Town in two separate incidents, it was left to Holdsworth to net the winner in the 76th minute. Huddersfield Town 12th, Leeds United 6th.

Walsall failed to capitalise, slipping up to their 6th home defeat at Bescot against Bristol Rovers, who ended a long baron winless run. Lambert netted the winner for Rovers in the 34th minute to secure their 7th away win of the season. The win also secures Bristol Rovers in League One for next season. Walsall 7th, Bristol Rovers 15th.
