Luton Town are one win away from collecting an impressive 100 points as they had to come from behind to beat Brentford 4-2 at Kenilworth Road. Brvovic got the home fans celebrating after 5 minutes, but were pegged back by Sodje (21) and Burton (26) putting the visitors ahead before the break. Luton then left it very late through Nicholls (84th min penalty), Showunmi and Steve Robinson then stole the points right at the end. Luton Town 1st, Brentford 7th.

Hull City's home celebrations to round off their home campaign were muted by Sheffield Wednesday who secured a play-off place with a 2-1 away win. Talbot put the visitors ahead on 19 minutes, with Elliott levelling through a 60th minute penalty. The Owls then nicked it in the final moments when Quinn stabbed the ball home to clai 3-points. Hull City 2nd, Sheffield Wednesday 4th.

Tranmere Rovers claimed a valuable 1-0 home win when Hall slotted home against Port Vale. Tranmere Rovers 3rd, Port Vale 18th.

Hartlepool United are doing their best to miss out on the play-offs as they lost 3-1 at home to Walsall. Robson (10), Joachim (14), and Surman (42) made a mockery of the home defence as the Saddlers stormed in to a 3-0 lead at half time. Hartlepool did pull one back through Boyd with a 77th minute penalty. Hartlepool 5th, Walsall 15th.

AFC Bournemouth are also doing their best to miss out on the play-offs following a 4-2 defeat at Bradford City. Dean Windass fired a hat trick in the 19th, 75th and 90th minutes with Schumacher getting the other with a spectacular strike. Hayter (61) and Mills (63) managed to get the Cherries back level before City snatched the points towards the end. Bradford City 11th, AFC Bournemouth 6th.

Bristol City harbour slim play-off ambitions after their 2-2 draw with Doncaster Rovers. Fortune-West fired Rovers in to a first half lead before Brooker levelled on 62 minutes. Fortune-West must have thought that he had secured the points before Brooker levelled in the final few minutes. Bristol City 8th, Doncaster Rovers 10th.

Huddersfield Town romped to a 4-0 victory against Swindon Town, who had been reduced to 9-men before the scoring started! Duke and Fallon saw red just before the break. Then after the re-start Abbott (62 & 80), Booth (79) and Edwards (85) sealed the points. Huddersfield Town 9th, Swindon Town 12th.

Barnsley and Colchester United went away from Oakwell honours even after a 1-1 draw. Nardiello put the home side in front on 41 minutes before Johnson levelled with 2 minutes left, extending ColU's unbeaten run to 10. Barnsley 13th, Colchester United 16th.

Blackpool gave Torquay United a helping hand in their bid for League One survival in the mists of Plainmoor. Akinfenwa put the home side ahead in the 16th minute, with Russell making sure of the points in the 54th. Torquay United 19th, Blackpool 14th.

Chesterfield pushed Oldham Athletic closer to the drop zone following a 1-0 win at Saltergate. Evatt scored the only goal of the game, leaving the Latics looking over their shoulders at Franchise FC! Chesterfield 17th, Oldham Athletic 20th.

Franchise FC did their chances of beating the drop a power of good against Peterborough United, running out 3-0 winners at London Road. Rizzo (9) and McLeod (22 & 85) secured the points for the franchise holders. Peterborough United 23rd, Franchise FC 21st.

Stockport County showed exactly why they have lost an incredible 16 home matches this season with a 1-4 reverse at the hands of battling Wrexham. The remarkable Ugarte scored another hat trick (5, 11, 29) with Edwards scoring the other Wrexham goal in the 14th minute as the County defence went AWOL. Couty themselves scored a mere consolation through Barlow in the 27th minute. Stockport County 24th, Wrexham 22nd.
