Leyton Orient continue to lead the way at the top of League One. This time they went north to Crewe Alexandra, coming away from Gresty Road with a 2-0 away win. Melligan put the Londoners ahead in the 35th minute, with Boyd confirming the win 5 minutes from time by scoring a penalty. Crewe Alexandra 14th, Leyton Orient 1st.

Carlisle United recorded their first away win of the new season by denting the 100% start that had been made by Huddersfield Town, coming away from the Galpharm Stadium with a 2-0 win. Livesey put the Cumbrians ahead in the 34th minute, with Garner adding to the advantage just before half time. Huddersfield Town 7th, Carlisle United 2nd.

Tranmere Rovers saw off Brighton & Hove Albion at Prenton Park with 2 goals in the last quarter of an hour to record their first home win of the new season. Greenacre put the home side ahead in the 78th minute, with Shuker making sure of the win in the final few seconds of the game. Tranmere Rovers 3rd, Brighton & Hove Albion 16th.

Luton Town maintained their 100% start at home with a convincing 3-1 win over Gillingham, who maintain their own 100% start to the season - but for different reasons! Bell fired the home ahead in the 17th minute, with Bentley levelling 5 minutes later. Furlong made sure that Luton went in ahead at half-time with a 27th minute strike. The points were wrapped up 10 minutes from time when Spring scored from the penalty spot. Luton Town 4th, Gillingham 23rd.

Hartlepool United maintained their dream start to life back in League One with a fine 2-0 away win over Port Vale at Vale Park. Robson gave United a 6th minute lead, with Brown making sure that the points were heading back to the north east with a goal 2 minutes from time. Port Vale 22nd, Hartlepool United 5th.

After a stuttering opening to the new season, Yeovil Town seem to be back on track again following a 2-1 away win over Northampton Town at Sixfields. Cochrane gave the visitors a 26th minute lead, with Hubertz levelling in the 32nd minute. The home side couldn't hold on to the point as Owusu popped up with a 90th minute winner. Northampton Town 19th, Yeovil Town 6th.

Swindon Town made the short journey to Cheltenham Town to play out a 1-1 draw at Whaddon Road. Sturrock gave the visitors a 35th minute lead, before Vincent levelled in the 72nd minute. Cheltenham Town 12th, Swindon Town 8th.

Bristol Rovers have started life well back in League One, this time recording a fine 1-0 away win over Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park. The only goal of the game came in the 38th minute when Jacobson socred that proved to be the winner. Oldham Athletic 15th, Bristol Rovers 9th.

Swansea City scored an impressive away win at Bescot, beating Walsall 3-1! The home side took a 7th minute lead through Butler - but that's as good as it got for the home side. Robinson levelled in the 12th, with Scotland putting the Welsh side ahead in the 26th minute. Robinson completed a brace with a 66th minute penalty. Walsall 21st, Swansea City 10th.

They might have spent a bit of money over the summer, but Doncaster Rovers are failing to deliver at the moment as Sean O'Driscolls men went down to his old club, AFC Bournemouth, at the Keepmoat Stadium! Greer gave the home side a 24th minute. Gradel levelled 4 minutes later, with Kuffour scoring a "deserved winner" just 16 minutes after the re-start! Doncaster Rovers 20th, AFC Bournemouth 11th.

Millwall made the short(ish) trip to Southend United, only to see the Essex-side record their first win of the new season. Bailey scored the only goal of the game in the 55th minute. Southend United 18th, Millwall 13th.

They might have been the pre-season favourites, but Nottingham Forest are heading towards the bottom-4, not the top-6 at the moment! Their 2nd defeat of the new season came at the hands of Leeds United, the only other club in League One with a 100% winning start. Kandol gave the visitors a 17th minute lead. Commons levelled in the 50th minute, but the Yorkshire side scored another last minute winner through Beckford. Nottingham Forest 18th, Leeds United 24th.
