Nottingham Forest slipped to their 3rd home defeat of the season, and at the hands of struggling Leyton Orient! Gutteridge gave the visitors an unexpected lead in the 25th minute, which was added to by Chambers just before the break. Breckin pulled one back for the home side in the 58th minute, only to see the 2-goal lead restored by Corden in the 69th minute! Nottingham Forest 1st, Leyton Orient 21st.

Bristol City took advantage of the slip by Forest with a single goal victory over Millwall at Ashton Gate. Murray scored the only goal of the game in the 1st minute! Bristol City 2nd, Millwall 23rd.

Scunthorpe United shot themselves in the foot at home against Blackpool in their Friday night kick off, and failed to take advantage of Forest's slip the next day! Morrell fired Blackpool ahead in the 27th minute. Hoolahan was a hero in the 58th minute by converting a penalty, was a villain in the 73rd minute when he managed to get sent off! Parker made it 3-0 in the 88th minute, before Baraclough scored a consolation in the final few moments for the home side. Scunthorpe United 3rd, Blackpool 8th.

Oldham Athletic could only manage a draw against Brighton & Hove Albion at Boundary Park. Warne put the home side ahead in the 18th minute, only to see Hammond level in the 61st minute. Oldham Athletic 4th, Brighton & Hove Albion 10th.

Swansea City demolished Carlisle United at their Liberty Stadium in a comprehensive 5-0 thrashing! Lawrence (8 mins), Fallon (15 mins), Robinson (27 mins) fired City in to a 3-0 lead within the opening half hour. Two quick strikes in the second period from Pratley (59 mins) and Fallon (62 mins) put the game beyond any doubt. Swansea City 6th, Carlisle United 12th.

Port Vale left it late to claim three points against struggling Brentford at Vale Park. Pilkington netted the winner with 3 minutes left to condemn Brentford to their 10th defeat of the season. Port Vale 9th, Brentford 24th.

Bradford City also claimed a single goal victory, theirs came at the expense of Chesterfield at Valley Parade. The only goal came in the 57th minute from Dean 'I Bite Ears' Windass. Bradford City 13th, Chesterfield 16th.

Gillingham left if VERY late to claim a point, and break the hearts of AFC Bournemouth at Priestfield. Vokes had rounded their keeper in the 38th minute to put the Cherries ahead. Andrews, on his 100th appearance, then headed home from a 93rd minute corner! Gillingham 14th, AFC Bournemouth 20th.

Huddersfield Town were held at home against Northampton Town at the Galpharm Stadium. Burnell gave visitors the lead in the 19th minute, but saw that cancelled out by Schofield in the 65th minute. Huddersfield Town 17th, Northampton Town 18th.

Cheltenham Town picked up their 5th home win of the season with a win over Rotherham United at Whaddon Road. Wilson put the home side ahead in the 64th minute. The win was confirmed in the last few moments when Bird netted the home sides second. Cheltenham Town 22nd, Rotherham United 19th.

The games between Tranmere Rovers (5th) and Crewe Alexandra (15th) and Doncaster Rovers (11th) and Yeovil Town (7th) were all called off due to bad weather.
