Swansea City were pegged back to taking just a point at Gresty Road against Crewe Alexandra. The league leaders had taken a 0-2 half time lead when Scotland (a 9th min pen) and a Roberts own goal (40th min) gave the Swans an advantage going in at the break. The Alex left it late through Baudet (82nd min) and Pope (90th min) to salvage a point for the home side. Crewe Alexandra 20th, Swansea City 1st.

Doncaster Rovers closed the gap at the top to 8 points with a 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers, bring to an end an 11 game unbeaten run the Gas has developed. Two penalties, one from Stock (65 mins) and Heffernan (90 mins) was enough to keep the points at the Keepmoat Stadium. Doncaster Rovers 2nd, Bristol Rovers 16th.

Nottingham Forest returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win over struggling Millwall at the City Ground as Bennett (48 mins) and Chambers (58 mins) claimed the points to keep the home side in touch with the automatic promotion places. Nottingham Forest 3rd, Millwall 21st.

Carlisle United were pegged back by lowly Port Vale at Vale Park as the Cumbrians surrendered to late equaliser. Garner had given the visitors a 62nd minute lead, but saw three points slip away when Harsley level from the penalty spot in the 84th minute. Port Vale 24th, Carlisle United 4th.

Walsall maintained their push for the play-offs with a 2-0 win over Yeovil Town at Bescot. Holmes gave the Saddlers a 67th minute lead with Betsy securing the win in the 90th minute. Walsall 5th, Yeovil Town 15th.

Tranmere Rovers had to make do with a share of the spoils at Prenton Park against Leyton Orient. Zola had given the home side a 2nd minute lead. Just when the win was looking likely, Chambers popped with an equaliser in the 87th minute. Tranmere Rovers 6th, Leyton Orient 7th.

Leeds United are slowly slipping back down League One. Their latest slip came away at Sixfields against Northampton Town. Howson gave the Yorkshire side a 38th minute lead, but saw Akinfenwa level in the 75th minute to secure a share of the points. Northampton Town 12th, Leeds United 8th.

Southend United are tucked in just behind the play-off places with an 8th home win of the season. Their latest success coming at the expense of Hartlepool United at Roots Hall, even though Sweeny gave the visitors a 9th minute lead. McCormack levelled in the 61st minute and Bailey scored what proved to be the winner in the 66th minute. Southend United 9th, Hartlepool United 17th.

Oldham Athletic continued their indifferent form of late with a home win over Gillingham at Boundary Park. Oli gave the Kent side a 25th minute lead with Taylor levelling 3 minutes before the break. Davies scored the winner mid way through the second period for the Latics. Oldham Athletic 10th, Gillingham 19th.

Huddersfield Town claimed the lead in the first minute through Jevons against Swindon Town at the Galpharm Stadium and that's how it stayed! Huddersfield Town 13th, Swindon Town 11th.

Cheltenham Town returned to winning ways at Whaddon Road against Brighton & Hove Albion. Robinson had given the Seagulls a 55th minute lead and must have thought that was the winner. But in stoppage time at the end of the game Russell and Gillespie secured an unlikely win for the home side. Cheltenham Town 18th, Brighton & Hove Albion 14th.

It was a battle of the clubs in Administration at Kenilworth Road between Luton Town and AFC Bournemouth, with the Cherries coming away with their 4th win in 5 games. Vokes and Kuffour stunned their hosts with strikes in the 13th and 14th minutes, with Gradel adding a stunning 3rd on the stroke of half time. Emanuel gave the home side hope in the 50th minute, which was snuffed out by Kuffour in the 84th minute to lift the Cherries back off the bottom of the table having had 10-points deducted just 24 hours earlier. Luton Town 22nd, AFC Bournemouth 23rd.
