Swansea City extended their lead at the top of the table with an emphatic 4-0 away win over Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium. Goals from Boode (28 mins), Bauza (52 mins), Scotland (86 mins - pen), and Brandy (90 mins) simply brushed the Yorkshire side away. Doncaster Rovers 6th, Swansea City 1st.

Carlisle United slipped to a surprise defeat on their travels at Cheltenham Town at Whaddon Road. Gillespie scored the only goal of the game in the 20th minute. Cheltenham Town 19th, Carlisle United 3rd.

Walsall are closing in on an automatic promotion place following a 2-1 home win over Gillingham at Bescot. Mooney in the 28th and Sonko in the 72nd practically made sure that the points stayed in the West Midlands before Crofts netted a consolation in the 90th minute. Walsall 4th, Gillingham 16th.

Leeds United saw 3-points slip from their grasp against Luton Town. Huntington gave the Yorkshire side a 27th minute lead, but saw Parkin net to rescue a point in the 94th minute at Kenilworth Road. Luton Town 23rd, Leeds United 5th.

Leyton Orient seem to be doing their best NOT to make it to the play-offs at the moment as they lost for the 6th time on the road. This time they slipped to Northampton Town at Sixfields after Coke (14 mins) and a Hubertz penalty (78 mins) sealed the win for the home side. Northampton Town 13th, Leyton Orient 7th.

Tranmere Rovers claimed an important 3-points against Yeovil Town at Prenton Park. Zola gave Rovers a 4th minute lead, with Kirk levelling in the 51st minute. The win was secured when Myrie-Williams scored in the 51st minute. Tranmere Rovers 8th, Yeovil Town 10th.

A relegation 6-pointer was acted out between Port Vale and AFC Bournemouth at Vale Park. The Cherries took the lead in the 10th minute through Vokes with Hollands adding to the score in the 28th minute. Pilkington pulled one back for the home side in the 49th minute before Cooper made sure that the points were heading south in the 84th minute. Port Vale 24th, AFC Bournemouth 22nd.

Crewe Alexandra (20th) and Swindon Town (11th) battled out a 0-0 draw at Gresty Road.
