Swansea City slipped up at home for only the second time this season as Gillingham jumped up 6 places in the League One Table with a 2-1 win. Byfield had but the Kent side ahead in the 17th minute, but were made to wait until the 70th minute for Harris to double the lead. Robinson reduced the deficit in the 83rd minute with a strike from the penalty spot. For the second time in 3 days, Swansea were involved in a bad tempered match as Gillingham also won the yellow card count - 8 yellows to the visiting side which included 2 for Flynn who eventually saw red in the 68th minute, two minutes after his first yellow card! Swansea City 4th, Gillingham 12th.

Nottingham Forest left themselves with a gulf to the play-off places if they are to bounce back to the higher level at the first attempt. They slipped up away from home at Franchise FC who won just their 4th home match of the season at the National Hockey Stadium. McLeod scored the only goal of the game to secure 3 much needed points in the 21st minute. Franchise FC 24th, Nottingham Forest 9th.

The third and final game of the night came at the County Ground where Swindon Town closed the gap to safety with a 1-0 home win over Walsall. Cureton secured the win with his strike in the 42nd minute. Swindon just need one more win to escape the bottom-4! Swindon Town 22nd, Walsall 18th.
