The game at the top was played out at Huish Park between play-off chasing Yeovil Town and Swindon Town, in a match televised live on Sky Sports. The game hinged on two goals as Rooney netted from the penalty spot in the 77th minute, with Collins putting the result beyond doubt for the Robins with a further strike in the 96th minute. Swindon won the yellow card count 5-4. Yeovil Town 7th, Swindon Town 3rd.

Despite the comments from the manager of Franchise FC that they can still make the play-offs, that laim claim looks in tatters after they were seen off by Crewe Alexandra at Gresty Road even though Bamford gave the visitors the lead in the 31st minute. A brace from Pogba in the 40th and 84th minutes meant that points remain in Cheshire, while Franchise were, once again, reduced to 10 men yet again this season. Crewe Alexandra 13th, Franchise FC 12th.

Two key games were played out at the foot of the table, with the points going the way of the home side.

First up is the match between Bury and Stevenage Borough at Gigg Lane. Bury managed to claim 3-vital points as Jones and Clarke-Harris scored the goals in the final 10-minutes to put Bury to within 6 points of safety. Bury 22nd, Stevenage Borough 15th.

The other game came at Boundary Park where Oldham Athletic hit Hartlepool United for 3 goals as Simpson (17th min), Mvoto (27th min) and Baxter (69th min) scored the goals to lift the Latics out of the drop zone for the time being. Oldham Athletic 20th, Hartlepool United 23rd.
