Two very well taken goals from Robbie Williams (43rd minute free kick) and Keigan Parker (52nd minute curled shot from outside the area), secure Blackpool's return to the second tier of English Football for the first time since 1978.

Yeovil Town had half chances, the best of which was a header from Marcus Stewart, which he managed to miss the target with the goal gapping. But it simply wasn't to be for the Somerset side who seemed to labour for much of the match.

Delight for the Blackpool fans as they can now look forward to local derbies against the likes of Burnley and their great rivals Preston North End next season.

The attendance was 59313 - just short of the League Two crowd of yesterday.
