Carlisle United come from behind to claim victory over Leeds United at Brunton Park ........ the first club in League One to do so! Beckford had given the Yorkshire side a 28th minute lead and it looked as if things were ticking along quite nicely. That is until Hackney levelled for the home side in the 61st minute, Garner then fired the home side in to the lead in the 70th minute with Bridge-Wilkinson making sure of the points in the 90th minute of the game in front of over 16,500 fans! Leeds United did win the yellow-card count 5-1! Carlisle United 1st, Leeds United 9th.

Leyton Orient climbed back in to the automatic promotion places with a single goal victory over Oldham Athletic at Brisbane Road. Daniels scored the only goal in the 8th minute. Leyton Orient 2nd, Oldham Athletic 20th.

Southend United also claimed a single-goal win, but theirs' came at Sixfields against Northampton Town. Barrett scored the only goal in the 65th minute. Northampton Town 12th, Southend United 3rd.

Nottingham Forest put one over play-off rivals Tranmere Rovers at The City Ground. Agogo put the home side ahead in the 50th minute from the penalty spot, with Tyson making sure of the points in the 78th minute. Nottingham Forest 4th, Tranmere Rovers 6th.

Swansea City slipped, following their Friday night draw against Gillingham at The Liberty Stadium. Facey had given the Kent side a 10th minute lead, but a share of the spoils had to be settled for after Anderson levelled in the 79th minute. Swansea City 5th, Gillingham 18th.

Brighton & Hove Albion maintained their play-off ambitions as they ran away 3-1 winners over Luton Town at Withdean. Savage gave the Seagulls a 40th minute lead. Forster extended that lead in the 69th minute, with Edwards pulling one back in the 79th. Forster completed a brace when he made sure of the points in the 85th minute. Brighton & Hove Albion 7th, Luton Town 15th.

Doncaster Rovers are creeping up the table, and did so again with a 2-1 win over Swindon Town at the County Ground. Stock gave the visitors a 31st minute lead with Cos levelling just after the break (47 mins). Guy scored the winner for the Yorkshire side in the 73rd minute. Swindon Town 11th, Doncaster Rovers 8th.

Hartlepool United made the long journey south to London to face Millwall at The New Den. The trip for the die hard fans was made much the sweeter when Sweeney scored what proved to be the winner in the 51st minute. Millwall 22nd, Hartlepool United 10th.

Walsall compounded the releagation fears of Cheltenham Town at Bescot with a 2-0 win over the strugglers. A Mooney brace, with goals in the 10th minute (from the penalty spot) and again in the 56th minute, was enough to keep all 3-points in the West Midlands. Walsall 13th, Cheltenham Town 24th.

Yeovil Town have slipped off the pace in recent weeks, and slipped further off the top-6 following a 2-0 defeat on the road at Gresty Road against Crewe Alexandra. McCready fired the home side ahead in the 28th minute, with Moore making sure of the points in the 40th. Crewe Alexandra 16th, Yeovil Town 14th.

Huddersfield Town gave themselves some breathing space between themselves and the drop zone with an important 3-1 win over Port Vale at the Galpharm Stadium. Booth gave the home side a 3rd minute lead with Wallwork adding to the good start in the 9th and Clarke putting the game beyond reach in the 21st. Vale did pull one back through Rodgers in the 43rd minute, but it was not enough. Huddersfield Town 17th, Port Vale 23rd.

Much relief for AFC Bournemouth as they managed to climb off the bottom with a 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers at The Memorial Ground, leaving the hosts without a home League win this season. Debutant Henry (loanee from Reading) netted a brace with goals in the 43rd and 92nbd minutes to seal the all important 3rd away win for the morning's bottom club! Bristol Rovers 19th, AFC Bournemouth 21st.
