Brighton & Hove Albion stretch their lead at the top of League One to 6-points following a 2-0 win over Yeovil Town at Withdean. Murray (43rd min) and Calderon (56th min) secured the points and an extension to their lead at the top. Brighton & Hove Albion 1st, Yeovil Town 20th.

Sheffield Wednesday had to come from behind to claim a share of the spoils against AFC Bournemouth at Hillsborough. Garry gave the Cherries the lead in the 25th minute only to see Mellor level for the Owls in the 82nd minute. Sheffield Wednesday 4th, AFC Bournemouth 2nd.

Peterborough United slipped against improving Brentford at Griffin Park even though McCann gave the Posh the lead in the 19th minute from the penalty spot. Woodman levelled for the Bees in the 39th minute, with Alexander scoring the winner in the 58th minute. Brentford 19th, Peterborough United 3rd.

Plymouth Argyle managed to claim their 2nd home win of the season against much-fancied Huddersfield Town at Home Park. Wright-Phillips have the Devon side the lead in the 16th minute, only to see Pilkington level 3 minutes later. Wright-Phillips secured the win in the 66th minute to bag the points. Plymouth Argyle 17th, Huddersfield Town 5th.

Colchester United managed to secure just their 2nd home win of the season at their Community Stadium with a 2-1 win over Notts County, who sacked their manager following the defeat. Westcarr may have give  County the lead in the 8th minute, but that did stop Odejayi netting a brace in the 76th and 83rd minute to secure the points to lift the Essex side in to the play-off places. Colchester United 6th, Notts County 16th.

Franchise FC edged Exeter City at Stadium:Franchse as Wilbraham scored the only goal of the game in the 53rd minute. Franchise FC 7th, Exeter City 10th.

Charlton Athletic left it late to claim the points at Brunton Park against Carlisle United in a 7-goal thriller. The Londoners claimed a 3-goal lead through Jackson (23rd min), Anyinsah (38th min) and Benson (47th min), but then threw away that lead as the Cumbrians hit back through Grella (58th min), Curran (61st min) and Madine (77th min). Benson broke the hearts of the locals as he headed home the winner in the 92nd minute. Carlisle United 8th, Charlton Athletic 11th.

Rochdale returned to winning ways against Dagenham & Redbridge at Spotland as the home side edged it 3-2. O'Grady gave the Dale the lead in the 22nd minute, with Elding (35th min) and Jones (58th min) virutally sealing the win. The Daggers hit back through Scannell (64th min) and Arber (68th min), but it wasn't enough to claim a point as the home side held out. Rochdale 9th, Dagenham & Redbridge 24th.

Hartlepool United and Bristol Rovers had to make do with a share of the spoils at Victoria Park. Gamble (29th min) and Sweeney (79th min) looked to have give Pool the points, only to see Kuffour (85th min) and Anthony (90th min) ensure that the points were shared. Hartlepool United 18th, Bristol Rovers 12th.

South Coast Club claimed their 3rd home win of the season against fellow mid-table side Oldham Athletic at St Mary's after Furman gave the Latics the lead in the 22nd minute. Fonte levelled in first half stoppage time, with Chamberlain scoring the winner in the 73rd minute. South Coast Club 14th, Oldham Athletic 13th.

Swindon Town and Leyton Orient had to settle for a share of the spoils at The County Ground as they cancelled each other out in a 2-2 draw. Spring gave the Londoners the lead in the 60th minute, with Austin levelling 2 minutes later. Revell restored the advantage for the O's in the 76th minute, only to see Rose level in the 84th minute. Swindon Town 15th, Leyton Orient 21st.

Walsall slipped to their 5th home defeat of the season as fellow strugglers, Tranmere Rovers emphatically recorded their 2nd away of the season at Bescot. Welsh gave the visitors the lead in the 34th minute, which was followed by a Showumni goal in the 59th minute. Macken got the Saddlers back in to the match 6 minutes later only to see Moore score from the penalty spot in the 78th minute and Welsh score his second of the match in the 88th minute. Walsall 23rd, Tranmere Rovers 22nd.
