The game of the day was televised on Sky Sports involving Brighton & Hove Albion and AFC Bournemouth at Withdean. After a forgettable first half, LuaLua fired the Seagulls in to the lead on the hour, with Pugh levelling in controversial circumstances in the 92nd minute from the penalty spot. Brighton & Hove Albion 1st, AFC Bournemouth 4th.

Carlisle United managed to take advantage of slips elsewhere as they edged past Notts County at Brunton Park, with Madine scored the only goal of the game in the 68th minute. Carlisle United 2nd, Notts County 17th.

Peterborough United slipped to their 3rd defeat on the road at the hands of Hartlepool United at Victoria Park. Hartley (44th min) and Liddle (90th min) secured the Pool's 2nd home win of the campaign. Hartlepool United 15th, Peterborough United 3rd.

After a dodgy spell, Sheffield Wednesday find themselves back in the play-off places following a 1-0 win over Leyton Orient at Hillsborough. Buxton scored the only goal in the 52nd minute. Sheffield Wednesday 5th, Leyton Orient 23rd.

Colchester United finally lost their unbeaten start to the season as they went down 3-0 in their new stadium against Huddersfield Town. Novak (34th min) and Pilkington (42nd min) have the Terriers a 2-goal lead at half time, leaving Rhodes the honour of netting the 3rd goal in the 78th minute. Colchester United 11th, Huddersfield Town 6th.

it looks like it's going to be a long season for Brentford as they find themselves propping up the League One table following a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Oldham Athletic at Griffin Park, that after Weston gave the Bees the lead in the 4th minute. Furman levelled in the 14th minute, with Taylor (46th min) and a Stephens penalty (65th min) to complete the win for the Latics. Brentford 24th, Oldham Athletic 7th.

Franchise FC dumped Dagenham & Redbridge back in to the bottom-4 as they notched up a 2-0 win st Stadium:Franchise. Baldock (55th min) and Doumbe (62nd min) scored the goals to secuire the win. Franchise FC 8th, Dagenham & Redbridge 21st.

Rochdale surprisingly slipped at home against Yeovil Town as Freeman scored the only goal of the game for the Somerset club in the 66th minute. Rochdale 8th, Yeovil Town 16th.

Charlton Athletic made the long journey to Home Park to face Plymouth Arglye, coning away with a 2-2 draw. Wright-Phillips gave Argyle the lead in the 4th minute. with Benson levelling 10 minutes before the break. Bolasie restored the Devon clubs advantage in the 82nd minute only to see Benson salvage a point in the final few seconds. Plymouth Argyle 18th, Charlton Athletic 10th.

Walsall managed to climb off the bottom of League One with a 2-1 win over Exeter City at Bescot. The Saddlers claimed a 2-goal lead going in to half time through Reid (32nd min) and Richards (43rd min), leaving Harley to score what proved to be a consolation for the Devon-side in the 53rd minute. Walsall 20th, Exeter City 12th.

South Coast Club find themselves in mid-table, but just a couple of points off the play-off places following a 2-0 win over Tranmere Rovers at St Mary's. Lambert gave the home side the lead in the 42nd minute, with Lallana securing the win in the 56th minute. South Coast Club 13th, Tranmere Rovers 22nd.
