Luton Town were on the road up the M1 at Bradford City and came away with a 1-0 away win, their 9th win on the road! The solitary goal came as early as the 10th minute when Vine slotted home to the deight of the travelling support. Bradford City 10th, Luton Town 1st.
Hull City maintained the pressure at the top with a 2-1 win over struggling Wrexham. Allsopp netted twice (35 & 58) before Wrexham's Hector Sam pulled one back on 75. Hull City 2nd, Wrexham 22nd.
Sheffield Wednesday made the short trip to Chesterfield, and came away with a convicing 3-1. They were 3-up through MacLeab (15 & 55) and Peacock (78) before De Bolla scored a consolation in the final few seconds. Chesterfield 12th, Sheff Weds 4th.
Hartlepool United are looking good for the play-offs following their 5th win away from home at Port Vale. Their single goal victory came as early as the 2nd minute when Porter swept the ball in from inside the penalty area. Port Vale 17th, Hartlepool United 5th.
AFC Bournemouth ended a barron run away from Dean Court with their first away win since November. Garreth O'Connor scored from a quick free kick to secure the points. This left Barnsley's slim play-off chances all but dead! Barnsley 15th, AFCB 6th.
Swindon Town let 3 points slip down at Plainmoor, settling for a 2-2 draw against Torquay United. The home side went ahead through Constantine in the 25th minute. Then upstepped Parkin to level (38) and put the visitors in to the lead (58). The lead lasted 5 minutes when Kuffour rescued a point for the home side as they continue their battle against relegation. Torquay United 19th, Swindon Town 8th.
Doncaster Rovers made the relatively short journey south to Peterborough United, and left with Barry Fry's side closer to the drop to League Two. The damage was done in the second period when Roberts (55) and Foster (81) netted to take the points back to Belle Vue. Peterborough United 23rd, Doncaster Rovers 11th.
Huddersfield Town were another side to secure a single goal victory. Theirs came at home against Blackpool, compliments of a Beckett strike in the 2nd minute. Huddersfield Town 14th, Blackpool 20th.
Colchester United came unstuck at home against Bristol City, who have collected more points on the road than at Ashton Gate! Brooker (51) and Lita (71) made sure of the 2-0 away win. Col U 16th, Bristol City 9th.
Oldham Athletic are not clear of the relegation dog fight, and certainly didn't help themselves against Stockport County at Boundary Park. Hurst netted for the visitors on 37 minutes, with Feeney heading home to doubel the lead on the hour mark. Oldham's consolation came 10 minutes later through Vernon, but it wasn't enough. Oldham Athletic 18th, Stockport County 24th.
The only other game in League One saw Walsall and Franchise FC fight out a 0-0 draw at Bescot. Walsall 13th, Franchise FC 21st.
