It isn’t just AFC Bournemouth who are looking at Portuguese players this season. Torquay United are also in on the act having signed Bruno Meirelles from Amora FC on a short term deal. Torquay are also hoping to sign Gillingham keeper Bertrand Bossu.
Supporters at Wrexham have launched a £12 million bid to buy the club and prevent a move to a new stadium. This follows a meeting of the local council, who opposed the move. Their Chairman (who apparently has no interest in football) has promised to relook at the possibility of staying at their traditional Racecourse ground home.

He had offers to go to other clubs higher up the League, but he wanted to come here and we moved quickly to secure his signature because you can't let opportunities like this pass". Kinsella’s former clubs include Charlton Athletic and Aston Villa.
