Sheffield Wednesday are to profit from the sale of their training ground to a development firm for £10m to build houses. This should being their debt down to what they reckon will be a manageable £15m and can break even on 20,000 gates.

Chesterfield have signed Jamal Campbell-Ryce from Charlton Athletic on a months loan. Spirites boss, Roy MacFarland is quoted as saying: "the injuries have tipped my hand so I am pleased that Jamal Campbell-Ryce has agreed to join us for a month to help supplement the squad."

Swindon Town have taken Gillingham striker Darius Henderson on loan for a month.
